COVID-19 Update to our Valued Residents

Village of Summit Valued Residents and Community Members;

The global outbreak of COVID-19 continues to consume the attention of every one of us and we are continuing to consider options to provide uninterrupted service to you while implementing action intended to slow the impact of this outbreak and protect our staff and community.

During this pandemic period, we will remain open to the public, especially during the 2020 Election Cycle. However, we are asking that you utilize our drop box (located next to the front door) and the US Postal Service for payments and communications, and that all non-essential visits be reduced. If you are registering your dog, you may mail or drop off your documents and payment and the dog tag will be returned to you by mail. Phone calls and emails are preferable to personal visits to our staff.

Payments by check for sewer bills and other payments will be processed in batches.  Your cancelled check will act as your payment receipt.

We want to remind you of your voting options for the upcoming Spring Election and Presidential Preference Vote scheduled for April 7, 2020. As of this writing, the polls for the Village of Summit will be open from 7 am – 8 pm at Summit Village Hall.

If you have had a fever, respiratory symptoms, or believe you are sick or have been exposed to someone who is sick, please considering requesting a ballot be mailed to you.

Request an absentee ballot online at www.myvote.wi.gov and select Vote Absentee

If you don’t have internet access, you may send a written request by mail or email with your name, residential address and mailing address and including a copy/picture of your Photo ID to administrator@summitvillage.org

In-Person Absentee Voting is planned to take place in our office beginning March 23 – April 3: M-F, 8 am to 4 pm and until 5 pm on Friday, April 3

During this time, we remain committed to our residents and community and will do all we can to provide the level of service you expect. We appreciate your understanding and support in the coming days and weeks.
