Parks General Information
The Village of Summit owns and maintains four parks that offer a variety of amenities for Village residents and visitors to enjoy. Village parks are open by ordinance from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Park restrooms and facilities are open from April 15 through October 15 each year, depending on weather. Pets are allowed in Village Parks and must be kept on a leash at all times, except in designated areas.

Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan

Parks Reservations
Park areas are available for reservation up to 12 months in advance. A Park Reservation Application & Permit must be approved and all applicable fees paid in full to secure a reservation. Fees are refundable if cancelled more than one business week from the date of a reservation, less a $15.00 processing fee. Reservations cancelled less than one business week from the date of a reservation will not be refunded. Reservation fees for Village of Summit residents are $50.00 per day, and non-resident fees are $75.00. 20-Amp electricity is available at Genesee Lake Road Park (Village Park) only.
Responsible drinking is permitted in most parks in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes with completion and approval of an Alcohol in Parks Permit. Park disturbances or the possibility of underage drinking will be addressed by the Village of Summit Police Department.

Volunteer Opportunities
The Village of Summit recognizes the benefits from financial, material, and labor contributions from local businesses, service clubs, and community groups. Donations assist the Public Works Department to extend services beyond the limits of Village funding.
